Immersive US Financials Conference, "Connected Client Journey" | Soundscaping + Custom Music

OBJECTIVE

Morgan Stanley wanted to show off their wealth management capabilities in a way that was both informative and entertaining, so they set out to create an immersive experience event that used storytelling to explain the complex financial concepts and show how Morgan Stanley and its clients grow together. The goal was to create an environment that evokes a sense of comfort, symbolizes growth, intrigues the listener, and provides a light, soothing and free atmosphere for their U.S. Financials Conference.

SOLUTION

JBMG was brought in to craft an immersive sonic experience for the event, blending three key elements to enhance the art installation:

1️⃣ Electronic Elements – Representing digital products with modern, innovative sound design.

2️⃣ Melodic Elements – Infusing warmth and trust through emotionally resonant instrumentation.

3️⃣ Growth Sounds – Lush, organic textures from nature—plants, rainforests, and rich vegetation—to evoke a sense of prosperity and abundance.

Additionally, JBMG licensed multiple catalog tracks and composed custom music to score all long-form digital content for Morgan Stanley’s Connected Client Journey videos, ensuring a cohesive and emotionally engaging soundscape. The videos were showcased at the conference and continue to live on the client's website.

RESULTS

The immersive conference debuted in June 2022 in NYC, earning high praise from press and industry attendees. Its success fueled further expansion throughout 2023, taking the conference on the road. Meanwhile, Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Management Connected Client Journey continues to feature five original JBMG compositions on its website.
